eDiscovery Solutions: Grappling with Electronically Stored Information

Many companies are not well-prepared to handle electronically-stored-information (ESI), a point I’ve made in previous posts. This is a key challenge when it comes to being prepared for legal discovery. In our most recent eDiscovery survey, Taking Steps to be Discovery Ready, a significant number of respondents say their company is particularly not prepared when it comes to reviewing ESI for relevance and privilege (50%), producing ESI to requesting party (44%) and processing ESI into forms suitable for review (39%).
